Well what a race today in Atlanta. Dale Jr. was running well several times today but had to face adversity as well. With an unscheduled pit stop, due to flat tires. But he kept coming back to the front. I was listening to Nascar Trackpass and Dale mentioned after the last caution he thought something was wrong. Sure enough off goes Dales tire, straight into the sunset along with Dales hope of a victory. Maybe after this test tomorrow at Atlanta when he gets a taste of a real racecar with Hendrick he may feel better.
So how about Michael Waltrip racing this weekend. Reutimann wins the Busch Race, Dale Jarrett qualifies 3rd and Michael finishes 11th. I think the new Co-Owner has had some definite positive influence on the team. With Michael not having to worry about the business side and sponsorships he can now focus on racing and it seems to be working....look out for Michael next season.
Well the championship is now a real nail bitter. Tony Stewart is now out of it in my opinion. Leaving only Gordon, Johnson, and Bowyer to fight it out. Johnson has not had his "bad luck" as of yet so maybe Bowyer can pull it off. But Gordon is tough to beat this season and he is just too damn good.
Anyway thats all for now, keep checking back for more.
Thanks for checking this out.
